How to Unlock Herrera Outlaw "Weiler" in Cyberpunk 2077
Phantom Liberty added a genuinely fun side hustle to Dogtown: stealing cars for a wiry ex-military type who calls himself El Capitan. Eight successful heists later, he hands over one of the expansion's best free cars, the Herrera Outlaw "Weiler," fully weaponized and ready for a fight. You have to chase down randomized spawn points scattered across Night City and Dogtown, which sounds simple until you're driving in circles wondering looking crazy.

Why You Want the Herrera Outlaw Weiler
The Outlaw is one of the most exclusive cars on the market: a sleek, handcrafted luxury sports car with a six-figure price tag most Night City residents will never touch. The Weiler variant takes that same sophisticated shell and arms it for war, adding CrystalDome tech, armor plating, and bulletproof tires on top of built-in machine guns. All-wheel drive and 755 horsepower mean it handles as well as it fights, and getting one for free instead of paying Herrera prices is exactly why players put in the grind.
How to Get the Herrera Outlaw “Weiler”
Requirements: Phantom Liberty; reach the “Lucretia My Reflection” main quest in Dogtown; complete eight vehicle contracts.
You can begin Vehicle Contracts the moment you can leave your Dogtown hideout during “Lucretia My Reflection.” When you are near the Heavy Hearts’ Club, your minimap may blink with a new icon that looks like a green steering wheel. Or Muamar "El Capitan" Reyes may call you and ask you to grab a car parked nearby, which kicks off the side job "Push It to the Limit." Steal the car, shake off the enemies who chase you on the way out of Dogtown, and deliver it to the drop-off point.
Once that first job is done, you are now able to complete Vehicle Contracts as a repeatable activity. A steering wheel icon appears on your minimap whenever a contract vehicle spawns nearby. Steal the marked car, deal with any guards nearby, and deliver it to El Capitan's drop-off point to complete a job called "Just Another Story." The driving requirements vary randomly. You could get a timed delivery mission, you could get a mission where you need to get rid of pursuers, or you could need to use a radar car to get close to another and jam its signal.
Known spawn zones cluster tightly around two areas: the Heavy Hearts Club, the pyramid-shaped building in Dogtown, and the stretch near the Kress Street fast travel point. Around Heavy Hearts Club, check the building northwest of the club itself, the northwest side of the club grounds, the building across the street to the southwest, and the block just past that one to the southwest again. Near Kress Street, check southeast of the fast travel point, southwest near the entrance to the area's criminal activity zone, the western edge of Dogtown near the Pacifica border, and the stretch of Pacifica directly north of that same criminal activity zone.
Complete eight Vehicle Contracts and 24 hours later (you can time skip), El Capitan calls you with one final job, "Baby Let Me Take You." Help him steal an Arasaka Medical Truck, and the Herrera Outlaw "Weiler" is yours; a weaponized car and one of the better rewards Phantom Liberty hands out for a repeatable activity.

Vehicle Heist Spawn Locations
Though the vehicle heist spawn locations are not quite fixed spots, here are known locations where I have found the vehicles to steal. Also, the vehicle heists are repeatable. Meaning, after you klep a car from a spawn point, it can respawn the next day to steal again. It’s not guaranteed, but it is possible. Also, spawns can disappear if you go too far out of its area or even if you load the game from a save point.
You need to complete eight vehicle heists for “Just Another Story.” And even though the locations are somewhat randomized, these are verified spawn locations. I’ll continue to update as I play. But I wanted to make sure I got at least eight definitive spawn locations so you can get complete the jobs and get your reward.
Dogtown
Known Spawn Location: Just outside Mr. Hands’ Heavy Heart’s Club (the pyramid building).
Known Spawn Location: Across the street from Heavy Heart’s Club surrounded by Barghast guards.
Known Spawn Location: Near Kress St. fast travel.
Known Spawn Location: Near Luxor High Wellness Spa fast travel.
Pacifica
Pacifica Vehicle Heist Location
Known Spawn Location: Coastview, near Batty’s Hotel fast travel.
Heywood
Known Spawn Location: Vista Del Rey not too far from the College St. fast travel.
Watson
Known Spawn Location: Northside at Martin St. fast travel.
Westbrook
Known Spawn Location: Japantown, across the street from Megabuilding H8 fast travel.
Santo Domingo
Known Spawn Location: Rancho Coronado near Almunecar and Jerez fast travel.
Beating the Time Limits
The timed delivery missions are notoriously difficult. All of a sudden, cars want to randomly switch lanes in front of you and there are more NPC car accidents and people running out into the street. How do you beat the time limits?
The best way to beat the time limits is to drive carefully: no accidents. Any mistake takes away from your driving time. I found that I actually beat the timer and had a little time to spare by not rushing.
Another way, and many hardcore gamers frown on this: reduce the game’s difficulty. I know. I know. But guess what? You’re here looking for ways to beat it, so you are looking for help and this is one legitimate way to do it. There is no shame in needing to reduce your game’s difficulty.
Eight heists, a short wait, and one Arasaka Medical Truck job are all that stand between you and a weaponized ride that actually rides pretty smooth.
