MULLET MADJACK Launches on Nintendo Switch Following Strong Steam and Xbox Reception
The over-the-top anime boomer shooter MULLET MADJACK is officially bringing its chaotic action to Nintendo Switch following a successful run on Steam and Xbox.
Originally released on Steam to strong critical and player reception, the fast-paced FPS currently holds a Metascore of 88 on Metacritic alongside a 97% positive user review rating. According to the publisher, the game has also reached 1.8 million players across Steam and Xbox since launch.
Now, Nintendo Switch players can jump into the neon-soaked action for themselves.
An Anime Boomer Shooter Where Time Is Your Health
MULLET MADJACK blends classic arcade-style FPS gameplay with anime-inspired presentation and roguelike mechanics. Set in a hyper-violent retro-futuristic world inspired by 1980s and 1990s anime, the game pushes players through frantic combat encounters where survival depends on speed.
The game’s biggest hook? Your health is tied directly to time.
Players must constantly eliminate enemies to stay alive, creating a fast, aggressive gameplay loop built around momentum and quick decision-making.
Old-School Anime Style Meets Roguelike Action
The game features a fully animated campaign complete with old-school anime cutscenes, leaning heavily into retro aesthetics and exaggerated action.
